Weddings

Holy Trinity Church, situated on the beautiful banks of the River Avon, has a long tradition of weddings. With its history, fine Willis organ, warm atmosphere and personal welcome, it provides a wonderful setting for a wedding in Bradford on Avon.

Our two smaller churches, St Mary’s Wingfield and St Mary the Virgin in Westwood, also offer extraordinary and beautiful settings for your special day.

Small services of blessing can also be arranged at the Saxon Church of St Laurence, opposite Holy Trinity, or at the small church of St Mary Tory, further up the hill. Neither church is currently licensed for marriage.

As a first step, please contact our Benefice Administrator, Annie, at beneficeoffice@htboa.org

She will be very happy to answer any questions and discuss how to proceed with arranging your very special church wedding. The Rector, Jenny Nelson, will continue with marriage preparation as you look towards your special day.

My beloved speaks and said to me:

‘Arise, my love, my fair one,
and come away;
for the winter is now past,
the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtle-dove
is heard in our land.’

Song of Solomon 2.10 -14
